Overview
Kevin Barry Fine Art is a leading national art consultancy to the Corporate, Hospitality & Healthcare design communities. They strive to provide art that tells an unexpected inspiring story and creates a unique experience for the viewer. An ongoing client of ours for decades, their Bergamot Station gallery was ready for a re-fresh so naturally Fisher Design Company was engaged.
Challenges
The objective was to design and provide a cost effective, minimally invasive, newly lit, after-hours renovation in a matter of a few weeks.
Strategy
Due to construction limitations, a tight budget and an aggressive schedule, we first established what ‘was’ and ‘was not’ possible. We then prioritized the wish list and added more workplace zones, new lighting, and a new reception area. We also re-shaped art walls to redirect the viewer and open up the space.
Results
The fast paced renovation achieved an improved workplace function & flow, provided a renewed, edgy architectural aesthetic, and most importantly infused a trendy mood that speaks to both the Architecture & Design community and art enthusiast.
